Setup markers

Setting up your pain markers will allow you to record your pain levels.

Add a marker

To add a new marker, touch the area of the body where you experience pain. By tapping this marker again you can label or delete it. To move the marker hold your finger on it and a move icon will appear, allowing it to be dragged around and placed correctly.

Zoom

Pinch and pull the screen for more accurate pain marker placement.

Labelling a marker

Labelling your markers is important, as it allows for easy data interpretation. To label a marker tap on the Label? button. The keyboard will appear allowing you to name this pain location.

Flip View

The avatar can be flipped by tapping the small inset located in the top right corner.

Save

Once you have setup all your pain markers these settings can be saved by tapping the green Save button located at the top right corner of the screen.

Setup Custom Data

Chronica supplies you with two preset recording topics – Mood and Activity. However, Custom Data allows you to create your own recording topics which are scored between 0 – 10.

New Data Slider

To create a new data slider, tap the New Data Slider button. The first step is to give your Slider a name. Tap the Name of Slider box and this will allow you to create a name.

Additional Info: If you wish, you can assign labels to the slider values. This can help you to add more meaning to your recordings. If you do not choose to create these labels, the area above the slider will remain blank.

Live Slider preview

This demonstrates how your slider will appear based on the labels you have assigned to your custom slider. Once you are satisfied with your slider tap the green Save button at the top right of the screen. Custom data sliders can be deleted or edited at any time.

Deleting Custom Data Sliders

Tap the Edit button and next to the existing sliders a red icon will appear. Tap on this icon and you will see a Delete button, allowing you to delete the slider. Although the slider has been deleted, any recordings that you have previously made through this slider will still remain in Chronica’s database.
